Prof. Mr. Rajeshwar Dayal is serving as the Head of Department (IT/IS) and Assistant Professor at the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, since July 2014. With over three decades of professional experience in academics, information technology, and government organizations, he has also served as an Approved Academic Counsellor of IGNOU, New Delhi, a University Approved Faculty of Sikkim Manipal University, and a Visiting Faculty at IIBM-ZHI Patna Group of Institutions. Earlier, he worked as In-Charge of EDP Works at the State Election Commission, Bihar, and as a Junior Consultant at WAPCOS (India) Ltd., a Government of India undertaking. His research interests include information systems and software development, and he actively participated in the USAID-sponsored IRMTP Action Research Program, where he developed software and a user manual for Irrigation Performance Evaluation and Operation Scheduling. Throughout his academic career, he has taught subjects such as Computer Concepts, C Programming, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming with C++, Computer Graphics & Multimedia, COBOL, FORTRAN, and Management Information Systems (MIS). In recognition of his dedication and excellence in teaching, he received the prestigious “Shreshth Shikshak Samman Puraskar (Best Faculty Award)” from IIBM-ZHI Patna Group of Institutions in 2003.
